Top départ du projet ERASMUS+ « BLIST »

Ces 28 et 29 mars, s’est déroulé à Bruxelles la réunion de lancement du projet Erasmus+ « Boosting incLusion of Students In research acTivities (BLIST) ». Sélectionné dans le cadre de l’action clé 2, Partenariats de coopération, ce projet européen vise à accroître la participation des étudiants dans les projets de recherche scientifique, mais également à élargir les horizons des enseignants-chercheurs aux partenariats européens.

Le consortium est composé de trois acteurs européens :  

- SynHERA, la cellule d’accompagnement et de valorisation de la recherche (BE) en Haute École
 - BUILDERS-École d’Ingénieurs, située à Caen (FR) 
- Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI), société de consultance active dans la recherche et l'innovation (PT)

Ensemble, ils auront pour mission de développer des outils destinés à encourager la participation des étudiants à la recherche. Parmi ceux-ci, on peut mentionner un guide de bonnes pratiques d’intégration des étudiants dans la recherche et l’innovation, des modules de formation, et beaucoup d’autres initiatives. Ce projet permettra aux trois partenaires d’identifier les besoins des étudiants en matière de participation à la recherche, et d’apporter des solutions pour lever les éventuels obstacles qui limitent encore leur implication dans ces projets de recherche et d’innovation.

Outre la création d’outils, qui seront disponibles en ligne, ce projet européen permettra aussi d’organiser des événements de réseautage et de sensibilisation à destination des étudiants, des enseignants et des responsables internationaux des établissements d’enseignement supérieur. 

Notons que SynHERA, coordinatrice du projet, BUILDERS et SPI disposent de deux ans et d'un subside de 250 000 euros, octroyé par le programme Erasmus+, pour mener à bien leur projet.

A very good start for BLIST project

« BLIST» (Boosting incLusion of Students In research acTivities) is an ERASMUS+ project, selected under Key Action 2, Cooperation Partnerships, with the aim to increase the participation of students in scientific research projects and broaden the horizons of teacher-researchers to European partnerships. The two-year project will provide teachers and students with tools to strengthen their involvement in research and innovation at the European level.

The consortium consists of three European organizations:

- SynHERA, the coordinator, an association representing applied research within French-speaking Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) and their associated Research Centres from Belgium

- BUILDERS - School of Engineering located in Caen (France)

- Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI), a Portuguese consulting company supporting innovation-fostering projects and international opportunities.

Together, the partners will develop tools to encourage student participation in research, such as a guide of good practices for the integration of students in research and innovation, training modules, and other initiatives and will also organize networking and awareness-raising events for students, teachers, and international managers of higher education institutions.

The kick-off meeting of the project was organized by SynHERA and held in Brussels on March 28th and 29th. It was an opportunity for the partners to finally meet in person and build stronger relationships after months of collaborating remotely on their proposal. The partners reviewed the main aspects of the project and began to plan several activities that will take place in the coming months. They all expressed optimism about the project's potential impact and look forward to working together towards its successful implementation.
